We've provided this overview to help set expectations over the next few months. This won't be an easy endeavor and requires perseverance, but if you can reach the finish line, you'll end up with hours of precious (and priceless) video stories from your loved ones.
If you're here because you've been invited to a Talk Story interview - fret not, you don't need to pay or even have an account with us. If you're here because you're hosting a Talk Story interview, it means you have a paid subscription*.

*If you don't have a paid subscription, you can still host your own Talk Story interview as all our questions and tools are made freely available with a Talk Story account.
Once you accept an invitation to a Talk Story interview, you'll start to receive Talk Story emails containing a question with prompts to help jog your memory. These curated questions have been specifically selected by your Interviewer so that they may learn more about your life through the stories you tell.
You'll record and upload a video story to Dropbox to share with your Interviewer. A new question will only be sent once a video to the previous question has been uploaded. If you encounter any questions that make you uncomfortable, every email includes a button that will allow you to skip the question. The Interview is finished when all questions have been asked.
